Presbyterian Women is organized into small groups, called circles, that meet regularly to provide an inclusive, caring community of women.  A circle is:

  • where faith is nurtured and growth take place through worship, study, friendship and outreach

  • where women are challenged to stretch beyond their limits

  • where women move beyond the safe places of life and reach out to others

  • where Christian leadership is born, nurtured, and sent forth into ministry

Purpose:

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:

  • to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,

  • to support the mission of the church worldwide,

  • to work for justice and peace, and

  • to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.

Presbyterian Women's Prayer Chain

"I urge them, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone." 1Timothy 2:1

If you have a prayer request or concern, call the first person on the list who will in turn call the next person. If you cannot reach anyone when you call, leave a message or call the next person on the list.  Each person on the list will pass the prayer concern on to others so that the request will find its way into the hearts and minds of others who will pray on your behalf.
